Fading Flowers

Thermal paper bills are a ubiquitous part of modern life, used for everything from receipts to bank statements. However, they are also incredibly fragile and prone to fading over time. By incorporating images of flowers onto these bills, I am exploring the ideas of impermanence and transience. Like the flowers that bloom and fade with the passing of each season, the images on the thermal paper bills are fragile and fleeting, reminding us of the impermanence of all things.
